Assistant Site Manager — Residential New Build Silver End | Permanent

Are you an experienced Assistant Site Manager with a solid background in residential new build? We're recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised, 5-star rated housebuilder for a permanent Assistant Site Manager to join their established site team on a live development in Ipswich.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will assist in managing the development through to completion, ensuring programme, quality, and cost targets are met at every stage. When required, you will deputise for the Site Manager, motivating and managing the site-based team to ensure the highest health, safety, and environmental performance standards are consistently achieved.

This is a hands-on, boots-on-site role. You'll be working closely with trades and their supervision daily, identifying problems early, communicating solutions clearly, and driving the development forward to programme.

* Manage subcontractors, monitoring attendance and progress, and providing direct instruction where required to ensure contractual arrangements are achieved

* Produce and regularly review short-term programmes in line with the overall project programme

* Liaise with sales and customer care teams ahead of plot completions

* Manage and close out snagging lists to ensure defect-free, customer-ready handovers
