Mechanical Project manager
My Client is a trusted name in Mechanical Services Installations, successfully delivering projects across Ireland and internationally to high-profile clients. The company provides full design and build solutions, from concept through to commissioning, with a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and client satisfaction.
As part of its continued growth, My Client is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to join its expanding team.
Below is an outline of the main elements of the role.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery of projects in accordance with contract requirements, programme timelines, company quality standards, and construction regulations.
Attend the Project Handover meeting with the wider team to receive the full project package and develop QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documentation.
Set up the site office and stores, including the erection of company signage.
Maintain the site office and stores to a high standard for the duration of the project.
Coordinate mechanical services and builders' work drawings.
Issue bi-weekly P&T HILTI reports.
Maintain the master requisition schedule.
Order materials and monitor plant delivery dates to ensure alignment with programme requirements.
Record deliveries, liaise with suppliers, and issue signed delivery dockets to the Procurement Department as required.
Assist payroll with any timesheet queries that may arise.
Manage subcontractors and direct staff on site with regard to safety, quality, and installation coordination.
Support Project Engineers in ensuring quality-assured documentation is delivered at defined milestones.
Attend site meetings.
Attend whiteboard meetings with the main contractor to review daily updates.
Ensure all site installations are maintained to company standards.
Assist the Contracts Manager in producing the project programme of works.
Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical services.
Manage project close-out activities and site decontamination.Desired Criteria
Previous project management experience in HVAC installations on healthcare projects is required.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes.
Strong communicator and leader with the ability to motivate teams and meet strict deadlines.
Full driver's licence required.
Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives and maintains a strong focus on performance improvement in day-to-day activities.Package
€75,000 – €80,000 salary depending on experience
