The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead cost management activities across multiple projects, from early-stage feasibility through to final account. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee procurement strategies, manage tender processes, and provide robust commercial advice to clients. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to project strategy and delivery while ensuring financial control. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also administer contracts, typically under JCT or NEC, and support wider programme management objectives where required.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will have 5+ years' UK experience within a consultancy or client-side environment. A Senior Quantity Surveyor should have experience delivering large-scale or complex projects across sectors such as infrastructure, commercial, or residential. Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts is essential for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role. A RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or similar is expected, with MRICS or working towards preferred. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be commercially astute, client-facing, and confident operating within a fast-paced environment.
