The Project Quantity Surveyor's role

The Project Quantity Surveyor will manage the full commercial lifecycle of super prime residential schemes, from early-stage cost advice through to final account. The Project Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of procurement strategies, carefully selecting and managing specialist contractors and high-end supply chains. As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be heavily involved in client and design meetings, ensuring cost plans align with bespoke design intent and evolving specifications. The Project Quantity Surveyor will also administer contracts, typically under JCT, while maintaining tight cost control across highly detailed and design-sensitive projects.

The Project Quantity Surveyor

The ideal Project Quantity Surveyor will have 3-6 years' experience within a consultancy or client-side environment, ideally with exposure to high-end residential or luxury fit-out projects. A Project Quantity Surveyor must be confident managing procurement and navigating complex, design-led schemes. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts is essential for this Project Quantity Surveyor role. A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar is expected, with MRICS or working towards seen as advantageous. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be highly detail-oriented, discreet, and confident working in a client-facing environment.
