Project Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Principal Contractor delivering a major healthcare refurbishment scheme in West London.

The successful candidate will take the lead on a live hospital ward refurbishment project, managing works from pre-construction through to completion while ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.

This role would suit a strong construction professional with refurbishment experience within complex live environments. Previous healthcare project experience is desirable; however, strong NEC contract knowledge is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day project delivery on live hospital ward refurbishment works
Manage programme, cost, quality, and subcontractor performance
Coordinate site teams, consultants, and client stakeholders
Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with NHS and infection control requirements
Drive programme performance and resolve project risks/issues proactively
Administer and manage NEC contract obligations
Maintain excellent communication with all project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures and company standards

Requirements

Proven experience delivering refurbishment or fit-out projects as a Project Manager
NEC contract experience is mandatory
Experience working for a Tier 1 Principal Contractor preferred
Healthcare/NHS project experience desirable
Strong understanding of live environment construction delivery
Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred
