Quantity Surveyor

Location: North London – Hybrid
Salary: up to £100k DoE
 
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of our construction clients based in North London. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be managing costs and value, ensuring quality and safety across a wide range of local commercial and residential projects.
 
Responsibilities:

Manage commercial resources across assigned projects to maximise profitability and achieve planned gross margins.
Provide commercial support in areas including valuations, claims management, budget control, and performance reporting.
Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
Oversee and authorise project variations, subcontract agreements, and material orders. 
Requirements:

Degree or HNC qualified in Quantity Surveying.
Previous experience in a similar Quantity Surveying or commercial role within the construction industry, ideally working for a Main Contractor.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and contractual processes
