A leading UK main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to commercially lead a major new build residential development in Central London.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded contractor with an impressive portfolio of large-scale residential, mixed-use, student accommodation and high-rise developments across the UK. The business has a strong pipeline of secured work, with projects ranging from £30m to £300m in value and schemes either commencing on site or currently within PCSA/pre-construction phase.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will take full commercial responsibility for a flagship residential project from early-stage procurement through to final account, working closely with operational, design and pre-construction teams.

The Role

Lead all commercial aspects of a major residential scheme

Manage projects through PCSA, procurement and delivery phases

Oversee subcontract procurement and package management

Produce accurate CVRs, forecasts and cost reporting

Manage variations, valuations and final accounts

Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors

Requirements

Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment

Strong track record delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments

Experience on projects valued £30m+

Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes
