Conrad Consulting is pleased to be working with an established and highly regarded multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit a Senior Building Surveyor for their growing West Sussex office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a forward‑thinking practice delivering a wide-ranging, project‑biased workload, primarily for public sector clients.

The Role

You will take a key role in the delivery of building surveying and project-led instructions, including:

Contract Administration on projects of varying scale and value

Full Project Management duties from inception through to completion

Writing and reviewing technical reports

Preparing specifications and schedules of work

Reviewing, preparing and submitting planning applications

Client liaison and professional advice throughout all stages of projects

Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate

About You

To be considered, you should have:

A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline

MRICS status (or actively working towards chartership)

Strong experience across project-focused building surveying services

Previous exposure to public sector projects (desirable)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A proactive, client-focused approach
