Leading Trackworker

Location: West Midlands 
Project: Light Rail Infrastructure
Duration: 12–18 months
Start Date: Mid June to early July
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00

We are recruiting Leading Trackworkers for a long term light rail infrastructure project in the West Midlands. You will be responsible for delivering track renewals works safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards, working as part of a multi‑disciplinary rail delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out track construction and associated civils works
Work safely in line with approved RAMS, SSOW and site instructions
Correct use of hand tools and small plant
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site discipline
Identify hazards, close calls, and near misses
Leading Trackmen will support supervision and guide the gang on site
Work collaboratively to meet programme and quality requirements

Essential Requirements

CSCS Card 
PTS (Personal Track Safety) – Desirable
First Aid 
Small Tools Competency 
Proven experience in rail or light rail track works
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
