Architectural Technician

Conrad Consulting are partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary practice based in Cornwall, after continued success they are looking to add further depth to their Architectural team with the addition of an Architectural Technician.

With further intake of exciting projects across the Residential and Commercial sectors, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, skilled team working on meaningful schemes right across the South West.

The Role

You'll primarily be working within the construction stages of projects, producing detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings to a high standard. There will also be the opportunity to get out on site, carrying out measured surveys and translating those findings into the relevant technical drawings, An ideal opportunity for  a technician that wants to get out on site aswell as stuck into the technical detailings.

This is a varied and hands-on role within a practice that is going from strength to strength, and would suit someone who takes real pride in their technical output.

Who We're Looking For

This opportunity is ideally suited to an Architectural Technician, Technologist, or an ARB Architect with a strong technical background who has demonstratable experience working within UK practice. For the right candidate.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK practice

Relevant UK qualification –  HND, HNC, or Architectural Degree

Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations

Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong technical drawing capabilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable in a client-facing capacity

Own transport with the ability to commute to Truro

Site experience (Desirable)

Salary & Benefits

£30,000 – £38,000  dependent on experience
