About the Architect Opportunity:

PSR Solutions are proud to be working with a leading architectural practice based in Kettering, recruiting for an experienced Architect to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the design and delivery of a range of Industrial and Commercial projects across the Midlands region. The role is predominantly office-based, with regular site visits and client meetings, offering the chance to work closely with internal design teams, consultants, and stakeholders to develop innovative, technically robust, and commercially viable architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and technical development of industrial and commercial projects from concept through to completion.
Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation across all RIBA stages.
Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure designs are compliant with current building regulations, planning requirements, and industry standards.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external consultants to deliver coordinated and buildable design solutions.
Manage project programmes and design deliverables to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
Attend and lead design meetings, client presentations, and site inspections as required.
Identify opportunities for value engineering and innovative design improvements.
Promote sustainable design principles and best practice across all projects.

Skills and Experience:

Qualified Architect with ARB registration (RIBA chartership desirable).
Proven experience working on industrial and/or commercial projects within an architectural practice.
Strong technical design and detailing knowledge with experience across multiple RIBA work stages.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms.
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads effectively.
Commercial awareness and practical understanding of construction methodology.
