About the Role
This Service & Maintenance Manager role will involve overseeing the day-to-day management of HVAC service and maintenance operations, including ventilation and air conditioning systems across commercial and industrial environments.
The successful Service & Maintenance Manager will manage maintenance contracts from initial quotation and tender stage through to delivery, while supporting engineers, maintaining client relationships, and helping grow recurring service revenue.
Responsibilities will include:
* Managing HVAC service and maintenance contracts across multiple sites
* Pricing maintenance works, remedial projects, and service agreements
* Liaising with clients following installations to secure ongoing maintenance contracts
* Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and service schedules
* Supporting and developing service engineers and technical staff
* Managing quotations, job costing, and commercial performance
* Conducting occasional site visits and client meetings
* Ensuring service delivery standards are maintained
* Supporting improvements across service operations and internal processes
* Working closely with project and installation teams during project handovers
The role would suit someone with strong industry knowledge across ventilation, ductwork, and air conditioning systems who understands both the technical and commercial side of HVAC service operations.
Previous experience in estimating, service coordination, contract management, or supervising engineers within an HVAC environment would be highly beneficial.
