Project Manager Retail Delivery & Fit-Outs
A well-established specialist contractor operating across the UK and Ireland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. With decades of experience delivering retail fit-outs, refurbishments, maintenance programmes, and store development projects, the business works with major national retail brands to provide high-quality, fast-paced delivery solutions.

Salary: up to £55,000 plus package

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager to take ownership of multiple retail and commercial projects from initial planning through to completion. Working alongside senior leadership, you will oversee programme delivery, coordinate internal and external teams, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of retail and commercial fit-out projects
Produce and maintain project programmes, schedules, and resource plans
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
Monitor project progress and resolve operational issues efficiently
Carry out regular site visits and ensure quality standards are maintained
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout delivery
Track project costs, budgets, and commercial performance
Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with all health & safety legislation and site procedures
Prepare project updates, reports, and documentation for senior management
Support continuous improvement across systems and project processes
You will ideally have:

Previous experience delivering retail, fit-out, refurbishment, or construction projects
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
The ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and competing priorities
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Knowledge of construction health & safety and site compliance
Experience using project management software and reporting systems
A full UK driving licence
Flexibility to travel and stay away occasionally when required
Desirable Experience

Project Management qualifications
Experience within shopfitting or retail construction environments
Knowledge of commercial project delivery processes and contractor coordination
Familiarity with project planning tools such as MS Project or similar systems
