Finishing Manager

INTERNALS MANAGER / FINISHING MANAGER – STUDENT ACCOMMODATION – COVENTRY
Up to £65,000 + Package

A leading main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments is looking to appoint an experienced Internals Manager / Finishing Manager for a major student accommodation scheme in Coventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of Midlands-based projects, working on a fast-paced development delivering high-quality accommodation and amenity spaces.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the internal fit-out and finishing stages of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Managing all internal trades through the fit-out and finishing phases
• Coordinating subcontractors and driving programme performance
• Monitoring quality on site and ensuring snag-free delivery
• Managing health & safety across all internal works
• Conducting inspections and quality checks throughout the build process
• Liaising with site management, consultants and subcontractors daily
• Managing handover processes and defect resolution
• Ensuring apartments and communal areas are completed to a high specification

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Internals Manager, Finishing Manager or Fit Out Manager
• Previous experience on residential or student accommodation projects preferred
• Strong eye for detail and quality control
• Ability to manage multiple trades within a fast-paced environment
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills
