INTERNALS MANAGER / FINISHING MANAGER – BIRMINGHAM
Up to £65,000 + Package
A leading main contractor with a strong presence across the Midlands is looking to appoint an experienced Internals Manager / Finishing Manager to support the delivery of a major high-rise residential and mixed-use development in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded business delivering complex, large-scale schemes across residential, commercial and regeneration sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the internal fit-out and finishing phases, ensuring exceptional quality standards and programme targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing all internal packages from 1st fix through to final handover
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works progress in line with programme
• Monitoring quality standards and managing snagging processes
• Driving health & safety compliance across all internal works
• Conducting inspections and ensuring high-quality finishes throughout
• Liaising with site teams, consultants and subcontractors daily
• Managing apartment and communal area completions
• Supporting client inspections, handovers and defect management
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Internals Manager, Finishing Manager or Fit Out Manager
• Previous experience on high-rise residential, student accommodation or mixed-use developments
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Excellent eye for detail and quality assurance
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
• Ability to manage fast-paced internal programmes and multiple trades
