Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing building contractor at an exciting stage of its development. Working directly alongside the business owner, this is a unique opportunity to become a key part of the company’s long-term growth and play a hands-on role across both commercial and operational aspects of the business. Projects include luxury domestic homes as well as commercial developments including warehouses, offices, and hospitals.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account

* Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports

* Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management

* Supporting the day-to-day running of projects alongside the business owner

* Visiting sites regularly and assisting with operational requirements where needed

* Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Skills and Qualifications Required

* Previous experience within a Quantity Surveying role

* Experience within residential, commercial, or mixed-sector construction projects

* Commercially aware with strong organisational skills

* Hands-on attitude and willingness to support across multiple areas of the business

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Open to varying levels of experience for the right individual
