Fire Risk Assessor

Job: Fire risk Assessor

Salary: Up to £50,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance

We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join a growing fire safety consultancy delivering high-quality non-intrusive fire risk assessments across London.

This role is ideal for a competent assessor holding Tier 2 status on the NFRAR register, with strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation and experience working across residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct non-intrusive Fire Risk Assessments in line with PAS 79 methodology
Produce clear, compliant, and detailed FRA reports
Identify fire hazards and recommend practical remedial actions
Provide professional advice to clients regarding fire safety compliance
Manage a portfolio of sites across London
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation and best practice
Liaise professionally with clients, housing providers, and stakeholders

Requirements

Tier 2 registered on the NFRAR register
Proven experience carrying out non-intrusive Fire Risk Assessments
Strong understanding of:

Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
PAS 79
Fire Safety Act
Relevant British Standards and guidance

Excellent report writing and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
