Construction Manager
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of specialist construction projects within highly regulated environments. This role will involve managing all on-site activities across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and construction packages, ensuring projects are delivered safely, to a high standard, and within programme.
The successful candidate will have previous experience delivering turnkey projects within sectors such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory or cleanroom environments.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture across site activities
Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors across multiple disciplines
Chair daily briefings and monitor progress against programme delivery requirements
Ensure installation works are completed in line with project specifications and agreed timescales
Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders to maintain effective communication throughout delivery
Coordinate construction activities covering:
HVAC installations
Mechanical works
Electrical works
Specialist cleanroom/laboratory fit-outs
Monitor site quality, inspections and compliance documentation
Support project reporting, planning and resource coordinationRequirements
Proven experience managing turnkey construction projects
Strong background overseeing construction, HVAC, mechanical and electrical packages
Previous experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory or cleanroom environments is highly desirable
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational and leadership abilities
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme deliveryQualifications & Certifications
SMSTS (Minimum Requirement)
NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent (preferred)
Temporary Works Coordinator certification
CSCS Card
