I’m currently working on behalf of a growing construction business that specialises in delivering high-quality education sector projects across the South East.

They are looking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Commercial Manager on a flagship redevelopment project involving the construction of a new multi-storey teaching facility for a prestigious independent education client.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business working on exciting and meaningful projects within the education sector.

The Role

This is a varied and fast-paced position where you will play a key role in supporting the operational and commercial functions of a live construction project.

Duties will include:

* Managing diaries, inboxes, and task trackers for senior management

* Coordinating project documentation via SharePoint and document control systems

* Supporting procurement activities and supplier coordination

* Assisting with project reporting, governance, and cost tracking

* Attending meetings, taking minutes, and following up on actions

* Monitoring subcontractor trackers, insurances, and project documentation

* Uploading and managing documents through Asite

* Supporting the wider commercial and project teams with administration

* Maintaining site office organisation and supplies

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, or Administrator role within construction

* Strong Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint

* Excellent organisation and communication skills

* Experience using document control platforms such as Asite (preferred)

* A proactive and solutions-focused approach

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Additional Information

The role will be split across office in Hemel Hempstead and the project site in Twickenham.

The project is due to run until October 2027, however there is strong potential for the role to become permanent for the right individual.
