Role: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 + Car/Allowance + Package

Location: Northampton

The Opportunity:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and well-established business within the residential groundworks sector.

The successful candidate will support the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring costs are controlled, valuations are completed accurately, and projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.

This role is suited to an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to develop within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the commercial management of residential groundworks projects
Preparing cost reports, valuations, and forecasts
Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
Assisting with procurement and tendering activities
Monitoring project costs and identifying risks and variations
Supporting the preparation of final accounts
Liaising with site teams, clients, and suppliers
Ensuring commercial procedures are followed across projects

Requirements

Experience working within residential groundworks
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification (HNC/HND considered)
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
Valid CSCS card
Full UK driving licence
Strong communication and organisational skills
