Site Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major high-rise apartment development in Manchester city centre. This flagship scheme offers the chance to be part of a high-profile project within a well-established and forward-thinking business.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the project, supporting the site team with setting out, quality assurance, and coordination of works on site.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out setting out duties in accordance with design drawings and specifications
Supporting site management with daily operations and programme delivery
Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress on site
Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project requirements
Maintaining accurate site records, including as-built drawings
Promoting and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
Liaising with consultants, designers, and key stakeholdersAbout You
Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on high-rise or large-scale construction projects
Strong setting-out skills using Total Station and/or GPS equipment
Good understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications
Strong communication and organisational skills
