Health, Safety & Environment Advisor:

Purpose of the Role:

– Working with all Departments and projects to ensure the highest standards of health, safety & Environment are met at Head office and project locations. Provide appropriate information, support, assurance and challenge to Project teams to help achieve HOCHTIEF requirements and drive continual improvement.
Role Accountabilities:
– To assist in the development, management, implementation and monitoring of the Safety, Health and Environmental Management system by updating systems in line with changes in legislation or best practice
– 3Assist with development of content for HSE Training and awareness programmes.
– Assist with the implementation of the (UK) Construction behavioural based safety programme 'BRAVE'
– Carry out inspections and audits in conjunction with appropriate management to ensure Company, Client and legislative requirements are being met and make recommendations for improvement
– Assist and / or manage with investigating and recording of close call, near miss and other incidents reported within the business.
– 3.6. Be honest in discharging your duties as a health and safety professional
– 3.7. Assist with the management of key HSE data to enable accurate trend analysis and develop systems to ensure where trends are identified they are met with a suitable response
– 3.8. Assist with development of Occupational Health and Wellbeing campaigns increasing awareness within the business
– 3.9 Assist the HSE Manager in providing the Work Winning department with health and safety input into Tenders and Pre-qualifications

– 3.10 Assist the HSE Manager with the implementation of the Business Strategy relating to Health and Safety.
– 3.9 Cooperate fully with IOSH and abide by its Charter, Byelaws and Regulations
Additional Duties:
– Any other duties consistent with your status and seniority, as necessary to meet the needs of the Business of the Company.
