M&E Site Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E services on a major commercial construction project. The successful candidate will manage day to day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, ensure health & safety compliance, and drive the project through to successful completion.

M&E Site Manager Key Responsibilities

* Manage all mechanical and electrical works on site from installation through to commissioning and handover

* Coordinate M&E subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials

* Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards

* Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager

* Chair and attend coordination and progress meetings

* Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and RAMS

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures

* Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging activities

* Coordinate with other trades and the wider construction team

* Support commissioning, testing, and client handover processes

* Maintain accurate site records and progress reports

M&E Site Manager Requirements

* Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on commercial construction projects

* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations

* Experience managing HVAC, pipework, electrical distribution, containment, lighting, and associated systems

* SMSTS qualification

* Valid CSCS Card

* SMSTS

* First Aid certification preferred

* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Full UK driving licence preferred
