We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a social housing maintenance company, who are looking for a Surveyor based in and around Bristol.
The Surveyor will be responsible for supporting the manager in the delivery of a customer focused, high quality responsive repairs, empty property/void works and planned maintenance and improvement programmes.
This role will requires site visits across the South West.
Surveyor duties:
To carry out the project management of a range of specific asset management projects as directed by the manager, from inception to completion.
Be responsible and accountable for project delivery, control and reporting of expenditure against budgets for projects and to meet or exceed agreed targets.
Undertake inspections and surveys of properties to determine works required to deliver project outcomes. Specify work, prepare cost estimates and cash flow forecasts and produce reports as required to support business case presentations and value for money assessments
Carry out property condition surveys and update the asset management database in a timely manner.
What is required for the role:
Experience with HHSRS assessments
Minimum of 3 years experience in the industry
Educated to Level 4 (HNC in Surveying or Construction & Built Environment or equivalent) or higher.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Social Housing experience
