Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Depending on Experience, plus package

UPB are a specialist construction & infrastructure recruiter, working with a well-established construction, civils & infrastructure contractor to hire a Assistant Project Manager working in the North West of the UK.
The successful Assistant Project Manager will be working across a range of civil engineering projects in the North West, whilst reporting to a Senior Project Manager in the region.
Schemes will range from £200k – £3m in value.
The role will ideally suit an individual from an Engineering/ technical or management background, early in your career and keen to gain further career development through experience in ECI stages, site setups, building programmes, writing and developing RAMS, ITPs and client interface.
You will benefit from a strong support team, and a healthy business mix of projects as part of a growing order book.
Key Responsibilities:

Developing project programmes, ensuring they meet construction targets and ensuring smooth running of sites.

Collaborate with clients and designers to understand project requirements and expectations.
*
Work with your Senior PM to provide comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
*
Proactively identify and address potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
*
Ensure timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
*
Preferably a degree or equivalent in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
*
Preferably an Engineering background
*
Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials (ideally 12 months + experience)
*
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
*
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
