Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a highly regarded multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy seeking a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their established Oxford team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced MRICS Building Surveyor looking to take the next step within a well-respected consultancy delivering high-quality professional and project-led services across a wide variety of sectors including education, healthcare, residential, commercial, retail, and public sector estates.

The successful candidate will become a key member of a collaborative team, working on a diverse range of projects from smaller refurbishment schemes through to major developments valued in excess of £30 million.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a broad range of Building Surveying services across multiple sectors

Lead on project delivery and contract administration duties

Undertake condition surveys, measured surveys, and defect diagnosis reports

Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and technical documentation

Advise clients on maintenance, refurbishment, repair, and compliance matters

Manage dilapidations, Party Wall matters, and planning applications

Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and act as lead consultant where required

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Support and mentor junior members of the Building Surveying team

Ensure high standards of technical quality and service delivery

Requirements

MRICS qualified

Previous consultancy experience within Building Surveying

Strong technical understanding across core Building Surveying disciplines

Experience delivering both professional and project work

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Commercial awareness and business development capability

Strong organisational and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple projects effectively

Full UK driving licence
