Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy
A growing construction consultancy is seeking an ambitious Senior Project Manager to join their expanding private sector team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to take on a leadership-focused position with responsibility for project delivery, client ownership, business development, and team growth. The successful Senior Project Manager will work across a range of commercial sector projects while playing a key role in the continued development of the consultancy.
This consultancy is looking for a proactive and entrepreneurial Senior Project Manager who can confidently manage multiple projects while building and maintaining strong client relationships. The incoming Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to influence team growth, contribute to business strategy, and support the development of junior staff within a collaborative consultancy environment.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The successful Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial and private sector projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery across programme, cost, and quality objectives. Responsibilities will include project management, consultant coordination, procurement, reporting, stakeholder management, and contract administration.
Beyond project delivery, the Senior Project Manager will play an important role in business development activities, client account management, and supporting the growth of the team. You will be expected to maintain and strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for further work and contributing to the consultancy's wider growth plans.
The Senior Project Manager
The ideal Senior Project Manager will have:
Strong construction consultancy experience
Proven experience delivering multiple commercial projects simultaneously
Strong client relationship and account management abilities
Experience supporting business development activities
Leadership experience with mentoring or team development responsibilities
Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or similar
Strong understanding of JCT contracts
MRICS, MAPM, or MCIOB preferred
