A leading global construction consultancy is seeking an ambitious and delivery-focused Project Manager to join their expanding industrial and logistics team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultancy-based Project Manager to work on major industrial shed and distribution centre projects for high-profile developers, investors, and occupiers across the UK. The successful Project Manager will join a well-established team with a strong project pipeline and excellent long-term progression opportunities.
This consultancy is looking to appoint multiple professionals within their project management division and is seeking a confident Project Manager with previous industrial, logistics, or large-scale commercial project experience. The incoming Project Manager will gain exposure to fast-paced developments while working alongside experienced senior professionals within a collaborative and highly respected consultancy environment.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The successful Project Manager will support the delivery of industrial and logistics projects from inception through to completion. Responsibilities will include programme management, consultant coordination, procurement support, project reporting, stakeholder management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Projects are expected to include industrial sheds, warehousing, and large-scale distribution centres across the Midlands and wider UK. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, and design teams while managing multiple project stages simultaneously within a fast-moving environment.
The Project Manager
The ideal Project Manager will have:
Previous construction consultancy experience
Experience delivering industrial, logistics, warehouse, or large-scale commercial projects
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or similar
Understanding of JCT contracts and project delivery processes
Progression towards or achievement of MRICS, MAPM, or MCIOB preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced projects
