Site Manager

RG Set Square are working closely with a main contractor in Yorkshire. Our client has several opportunities for permanent Site Managers across the Yorkshire region, therefore the ability to drive is essential for these roles.

Experienced Construction Build Site Manager's are required for these projects, that are ranging from Local Authority projects, Leisure, Education and Health. Your key daily duties will involve;

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be managing the supply chain partners to deliver the projects safely, sustainably, on time, within budget and to the highest quality.

– ensure work is delivered on time, safely, to budget, according to design specifications, drawings and documentation.

– maintain and control progress by collaborating with the project team and supply chain partners, supporting daily briefings.

– proactively resolve programme issues, escalating to the appropriate people where necessary.

– monitor tasks, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to the right quality standard. Ensuring the effective planning of the supply chain works.

– proactively plan short-term (up to 6 weeks) programme for low-medium risk packages/areas.

– proactively resolve programme issues, escalating to the Project Manager where necessary.

– Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the Quality Method Statement

– Working closely with the sub-contractors to ensure Fieldview records are maintained, with photographic records at each hold point.

– Support and champion Social Value works and sustainability in conjunction with the project I'm helping to deliver

Essential requirements

valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid certificates and a full UK driving licence
