A highly respected and well-established consultancy with a strong reputation across the Manchester market is looking to appoint an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) to support the continued growth of its North West Cost Management team.

The successful candidate will join a trusted and highly regarded team delivering high-profile projects across a varied portfolio including Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, Private Estates, and wider public realm commissions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious QS seeking to take on a leading role within a consultancy recognised for delivering meaningful and technically interesting projects across the North West.
The Role
You will provide pre- and post-contract cost management services across a diverse mix of projects, with a particular focus on Healthcare and Education-related schemes. Working closely with established clients, you will play a key role in delivering complex and high-profile developments across the region.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing projects from feasibility through to final account
Preparing cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation
Advising on procurement and contract strategy (NEC / JCT)
Managing risk, value engineering, and change control
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting junior team members and contributing to team growth
About You
MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor
Ideally 3+ years PQE within a consultancy / PQS environment
Experience across Healthcare, Education, Public Sector, or mixed-sector projects
Strong commercial and client-facing skills
Ambitious, collaborative, and motivated to progress within a leading consultancy
