We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major industrial groundworks package on a large-scale European construction project.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international contractor delivering complex industrial and infrastructure works across Europe.
The Role:
You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a significant groundworks and civil engineering package, managing programme, commercial performance, subcontractors, health & safety, and client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Scope of works will include:
• Bulk earthworks
• Deep drainage
• RC structures
• Roads & infrastructure
• Foundations and enabling works
• Heavy industrial civils
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead site delivery teams across multiple work fronts
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate with client teams
• Monitor programme and drive productivity on site
• Oversee quality assurance and technical compliance
• Commercial awareness including variations and cost control
• Chair progress meetings and provide regular reporting
• Ensure all HSEQ standards are maintained
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large industrial or civil engineering projects
• Strong background in groundworks and heavy civils
• Experience delivering high-value packages (€20m+)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage fast-paced, complex construction environments
• EU project experience advantageous
• Degree qualified or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
• EU Passport required due to project location and mobilisation requirements
