We are recruiting a Document Controller to support a busy construction team in the Swindon offices, ensuring all drawings, documents, and records are accurately managed, distributed, and controlled. This role is essential to maintaining compliance, supporting site operations, and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all project documentation including drawings, reports, registers, and correspondence.

*

Maintain document numbering, revision control, and version tracking.

*

Upload, file, and archive documents using platforms.

*

Ensure the latest approved documents are issued to site teams and subcontractors.

*

Track submissions, approvals, comments, and outstanding actions.

*

Produce document status reports and maintain accurate registers.

*

Support project managers, engineers, and site teams with document queries.

*

Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR and company procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

*

Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction, engineering, or a technical environment.

*

Strong IT skills including MS Office and document management systems.

*

Excellent organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.

*

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

*

Confident communicator with a proactive approach.

Desirable

*

Experience with Nextdocsor similar platforms.

*

Understanding of construction drawings and project workflows.

*

Knowledge of GDPR and document compliance requirements
