A well-established and rapidly growing interior fit-out and refurbishment contractor is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join its operational team.

The business delivers high-quality commercial interior projects across multiple sectors throughout the UK, with a strong reputation for quality, professionalism, and client satisfaction. Due to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, an opportunity has arisen for an organised and commercially aware Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through to successful handover.

Position: Project Manager

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum + car allowance + package

Contract Type: Permanent

Availability: Immediately available

The Role:

Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Project Manager will play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors including office, retail, hospitality, education, and commercial workspace environments.

The role requires an individual capable of taking ownership of projects from pre-construction and planning through to final handover and client sign-off. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational delivery, maintaining programme deadlines, overseeing commercial performance, and ensuring projects are completed safely and to an exceptional standard.

Managing all operational phases of interior fit-out and refurbishment contracts
Leading project planning, sequencing, and delivery strategies
Maintaining strong client communication throughout the project lifecycle
Driving programme performance and ensuring deadlines are achieved
Monitoring commercial performance in conjunction with the commercial team
Ensuring all projects meet quality assurance and health & safety standards
Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies proactively
Full project management responsibility from mobilisation through to completion
Coordination and management of subcontractors, labour, and suppliers

The successful candidate will be a driven and professional individual with a strong background in construction project delivery, ideally within interior fit-out, refurbishment, or commercial construction environments.

The business is seeking an individual who is commercially aware, solutions-focused, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving operational environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as a Project Manager within construction, fit-out, or refurbishment
Strong knowledge of project delivery processes and construction methodologies
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractor performance effectively
Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and project costs

Preferred Qualifications:

SMSTS Certification
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work qualification
Relevant construction management qualification or degree
