Architectural Technologist
Partnered with one of my long standing clients as they have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join their Newport or Gloucester office, the opportunity will be to join their Commercial team working on a variety of projects within the Defence and Commercial sectors, with a vast portfolio of impressive repeat clients and projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a Technologist to thrive in their career.
This will be an opportunity for a Technologist sat at the intermediate level, with some project running capabilities and working collaboratively across other projects to join a supportive practice that will help you become a dedicate Senior Technologist working on large scale high value projects.
The Role
You will play a key part in the production of technical design packages, working across all stages of projects from developed design through to construction. You will collaborate closely with project leads, clients, and the wider design team, bringing technical expertise and a proactive approach to every stage of delivery.
Candidate Requirements
Proficient in Revit and associated design software
Minimum 2+ years' relevant experience
CIAT accreditation desirable or working towards it
Experience across commercial and/or defence sectors preferred
Proven track record in producing technical design packages and involvement through construction stages
Experience in NBS specification writing (Beneficial)
Good working knowledge of current Principal Designer duties under the Building Safety Act, UK Building Regulations, and CDM obligations
Strong communicator, capable of working independently and as part of a wider team
Salary & Benefits
£36,000 – £42,000 dependent on experience
