Conrad Consulting is proud to be working with a leading multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor for their growing London team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious MRICS Building Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy with an impressive portfolio of projects across the commercial, education, residential, healthcare and leisure sectors. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative and dynamic team, delivering a broad range of professional and project-led surveying services to a diverse client base.

The Role

As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will be involved in managing property portfolios, delivering project work and providing professional advice to clients across a variety of sectors. This position offers excellent exposure to both professional and contract administration duties within a supportive consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out building surveys and measured surveys

Providing advice on building design, construction, maintenance and refurbishment

Ensuring compliance with current building regulations and technical standards

Preparing specifications, schedules of work and maintenance programmes

Administering contracts and overseeing maintenance/refurbishment projects

Identifying, analysing and reporting on building defects

Managing insurance claims and liaising with loss adjusters

Preparing drawings and specifications for remedial works

Producing schedules of dilapidations

Requirements

MRICS Chartered status essential

Previous experience within a Building Surveying role in private practice/consultancy

Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills

Excellent communication and client-facing ability

Full UK driving licence preferred
