The role & about the client:
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a respected Main Contractor specialising in the fit-out and refurbishment of office buildings and commercial premises across Central London and the Home Counties. With a diverse and growing portfolio of commercial projects ranging from £50K to £500K+, our client is seeking a skilled Technical Services Manager to join their Lite Works division.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the successful delivery of fast-track commercial fit-outs, overseeing the full lifecycle of MEP services and working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver excellence in every detail.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of MEP services
*
Ensure all works meet building regulations, safety standards, and project specifications
*
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors for effective project execution
*
Manage technical challenges on-site and ensure timely issue resolution
*
Conduct quality checks, site inspections, and manage reporting and progress updates
*
Drive value engineering and procurement efficiency
*
Lead final commissioning and ensure a seamless project handover
The ideal candidate will have/be:
*
5–7+ years of post-graduate experience, preferably with main contractor exposure
*
A strong track record in commercial fit-out projects
*
Technical knowledge across all key building services: M&E, AV, sprinklers, security, lifts, voice & data
*
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*
Proactive and solutions-focused with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
*
Relevant qualifications in building services, engineering, or construction management
