🏢 The Opportunity
A leading building services contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to take commercial responsibility for major mechanical and electrical projects across London. This role suits someone who combines technical expertise with strong commercial instincts and enjoys working on complex, high‑value schemes.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Cost Management – Lead cost planning, forecasting, and financial control across multiple M&E packages.
Contract Administration – Manage NEC/JCT contracts, variations, change control, and claims.
Procurement & Subcontract Management – Oversee procurement, negotiate subcontract packages, and manage supply chain performance.
Commercial Reporting – Produce accurate CVRs, valuations, and monthly commercial reports.
Risk & Opportunity Management – Identify commercial risks and opportunities to protect and enhance project margins.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to support successful project delivery.
🎯 About You
Strong experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, ideally at Senior level.
Background working for an M&E contractor or building services specialist.
Excellent understanding of NEC and JCT contract forms.
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

£70,000-£95,000 base salary
