About the company:
A well-established architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist to support the delivery of projects within its Healthcare, Education & Science (HES) sector team. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically complex schemes including healthcare facilities, educational buildings, science environments, and laboratory projects. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the production, coordination, and management of technical information across a variety of project stages, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and project delivery.
Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, the Senior Architectural Technologist will contribute technical expertise throughout the design and construction process, liaising closely with clients, consultants, and contractors. The role would suit an experienced technologist with strong technical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to take ownership of project responsibilities within a fast-paced architectural environment.

Prepare, manage, and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages
Support the delivery of projects across a range of RIBA stages
Develop technical solutions in line with client and project requirements
Coordinate information with consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
Contribute to BIM workflows and project coordination processes
Attend design team meetings, site visits, and client presentations where required
Monitor project deadlines and assist with programme management
Provide guidance and support to junior team members
Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and documentationIdeal Candidate
Qualified Architectural Technologist or relevant technical qualification
Strong experience working within a UK architectural practice
Excellent technical and detailing knowledge across a variety of project stages
Previous experience within healthcare, education, science, or laboratory sectors would be beneficial
Laboratory project experience highly desirable
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies
Revit knowledge preferred, although not essential
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to manage workload effectively across multiple projects
Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach
Collaborative team player with a positive and adaptable attitude
