Construction Site Supervisor

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
Type: Site-based

Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension

Pay: Weekly pay, £25 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Supervisor (M&E) to join our team on a live construction project in Bracknell. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take the lead on the day-to-day supervision and coordination of mechanical and electrical works, ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing M&E installation activities on site, working closely with subcontractors, designers and the principal contractor team to ensure smooth delivery from first fix through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate M&E installation works, including HVAC, pipework, plumbing, electrical containment, cabling and plant installation
Ensure works are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, RAMS and relevant standards (BS, CIBSE, IET)
Monitor progress against the construction programme and report delays or technical issues
Enforce health, safety and environmental standards, stopping unsafe works where necessary
Carry out quality checks, inspections and snagging, ensuring installations meet design and statutory requirements
Support testing, commissioning and certification activities
Manage M&E materials, plant and logistics on site
Maintain daily site records, progress reports and visual evidence
Liaise with project managers, design engineers, commissioning managers and other trade supervisorsWhat We're Looking For

Essential

SSSTS or SMSTS
CSCS Supervisory Card (M&E related)
Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
Proven experience supervising M&E works on live construction sites
Strong knowledge of either mechanical or electrical systems (or both)
Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and schematicsDesirable

First Aid at Work
HV/LV awareness, confined spaces or hot works permits
Experience supporting testing, commissioning and handover phasesSkills & Attributes

Strong understanding of M&E health and safety requirements
Excellent organisational and coordination skills
Clear communicator with confident leadership ability
Proactive, problem-solving mindset
