Resident Liaison Officer
FREELANCE RESIDENT LIAISON OFFICER
RATE £18.00 – £22.00 per hour
LOCATION : BRIGHTON
A leading Sussex-based contractor specialising in refurbishment projects within occupied residential and commercial properties across East and West Sussex is currently seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team.
As the primary point of contact between the project team and residents, including private homeowners and commercial tenants, you will play a key role in ensuring clear communication, minimal disruption, and a smooth refurbishment process throughout the duration of the works.
Key Responsibilities
Working across two live schemes concurrently in the Brighton area
Liaising with residents and commercial tenants to coordinate property access
Carrying out site visits and resident surveys to assess potential works requirements
Acting as the link between residents and site teams to minimise disruption and maintain positive relationships
Collaborating closely with project teams to ensure works are delivered in line with programme deadlines
Managing resident queries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
Maintaining accurate project trackers and communication records throughout the programme of works
About You
Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or Tenant Liaison Officer is essential
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
Practical understanding of health & safety within refurbishment or construction environments
