Salary – £40,000 – £45,000 + Package
A large and well-established construction firm is looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile construction projects within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing project documentation and ensuring accurate control of all incoming and outgoing information across live construction projects. Working closely with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient document control processes and supporting project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain all project documentation and drawing registers
* Ensure accurate distribution and filing of project information
* Control document workflows, revisions, and approvals
* Support project teams with document management processes and procedures
* Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and client teams regarding documentation
* Maintain compliance with company and project standards
* Produce reports and track document status across multiple projects
* Ensure all records are up to date and accessible within project systems
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry
* Strong experience using Procore
* Excellent document management and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy project environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and common document management systems
* Experience working on large construction projects would be advantageous
