Estimator – Central London

£45,000 – £80,000 (DOE)

We’re working with a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor who are looking to bring an Estimator into their London team.

They have a strong pipeline of work across concrete repairs, structural repair and civils, and this role offers the chance to be involved in a range of technically interesting projects while supporting a busy preconstruction function.

What you’ll be doing:

Producing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering and structural repair projects
Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation to fully understand scope
Sending out and analysing subcontractor and supplier enquiries to build competitive pricing
Working closely with preconstruction, commercial and operational teams
Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options within tenders
Supporting the wider bid process where requiredWhat they’re looking for:

Experience as an Estimator within construction or civil engineering
Ideally exposure to concrete repairs, structural repair or similar specialist works
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple tenders and deadlinesWhat’s on offer:

£45k – £80k salary depending on experience
