️ THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with an employee-owned Tier 1 contractor seeking an Estimating Manager – Infrastructure to support and lead major pursuits across Ontario.

Projects include:

Roads & Highways
Bridges & Interchanges
LRT & BRT Transit Systems
✈️ Airports
️ Major Transportation Infrastructure

Reporting into senior pre-construction leadership, you will oversee estimating teams, drive bid strategy and play a critical role in shaping successful project outcomes.

This is a genuine leadership-track role with mentorship and progression opportunities toward senior estimating leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Lead and mentor estimating teams across major pursuits
Drive conceptual estimating, budgeting and bid strategy
Review scopes, technical specifications and cost completeness
Identify constructability solutions and cost-saving opportunities
Lead bid closings and oversee complex tender submissions
Conduct benchmarking, market testing and analytics-driven estimating
Support workforce and succession planning within the estimating function
Collaborate closely with operations, subcontractors and business development teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Champion best practice and continuous improvement across the estimating process

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

✔️ 10+ years combined field and estimating experience
✔️ Minimum 5 years in estimating leadership or senior estimating roles
✔️ Infrastructure or major project estimating experience
✔️ Strong commercial and technical understanding of procurement methods
✔️ Ability to lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams
✔️ Strong collaboration skills across operations and project stakeholders
✔️ Experience with conceptual estimating, benchmarking and market testing
