This Senior Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to deliver complex healthcare and NHS projects across London and the wider South East, working with major public sector clients on a variety of capital projects and healthcare developments.

The successful Senior Project Manager will join a highly regarded consultancy with a strong presence within the healthcare sector and an extensive pipeline of NHS projects. This Senior Project Manager role is ideal for a confident and client-facing professional capable of leading projects independently from inception through to completion. The Senior Project Manager will manage key stakeholder relationships, oversee project delivery and support the successful delivery of healthcare schemes within live operational environments.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considred for this role.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The successful Senior Project Manager will oversee healthcare and NHS projects through all project stages.

Responsibilities include:

Managing NHS and healthcare construction projects from inception to completion
Leading client meetings and stakeholder engagement processes
Coordinating consultants, contractors and specialist teams
Managing project programmes, budgets and reporting
Overseeing procurement, risk and change control procedures
Supporting contract administration duties
Ensuring projects are delivered within live healthcare environments effectively
Monitoring project performance against programme and budget objectives
Maintaining strong relationships with NHS clients and stakeholders

The Senior Project Manager

The consultancy is seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Senior Project Manager with:

Consultancy-side project management experience
Strong healthcare or NHS project experience
Previous experience working within live operational healthcare environments
Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
Ability to independently manage multiple projects
Strong commercial and project delivery knowledge
Degree qualified in Construction, Project Management or similar
Chartered or working towards MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM preferred
