You will be joining a well-established tier contractor delivering a major utilities infrastructure framework across Kent. The business has a strong presence within complex civil engineering and energy projects, with a consistent pipeline of work and a reputation for long-term project delivery and team development.

Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take the lead on subcontract package management across a large-scale infrastructure scheme. Working on a fully site-based role, you will be responsible for managing NEC4 subcontracts (Options A, B and Small Works), ensuring robust commercial control from procurement through to final account.
You will oversee subcontractor performance, manage change and risk proactively, and lead on forecasting, cost reporting, and monthly CVR inputs. The role will also involve supporting and mentoring a small QS team, ensuring effective administration and timely delivery of commercial outputs.
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring financial performance and improving commercial processes across the project as it develops.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience operating as a Senior QS within a civils or infrastructure environment, ideally with a main contractor.You will need:

Proven NEC4 experience across subcontract packages
Strong background in subcontractor management, change control and risk management
Experience producing CVRs, forecasts and cost reporting
Ability to work full-time on site
A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
A valid CSCS card(Experience in utilities or large infrastructure frameworks would be beneficial but is not essential.)
