Salary/Benefits: £26k – £43k + Training & Benefits
Our client is recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover domestic and commercial sites in the East Anglia region. You will be joining a successful, UKAS accredited company, with an excellent reputation within the industry. Our client is able to offer fantastic training plans and progression within the industry, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking outfit. Applicants must have experience working across a variety of client sites and will come with a successful track record within the industry. You will be travelling across: Ipswich, Felixstowe, Colchester, Sudbury, Hadleigh, Braintree, Harwich, Bishop’s Stortford, Newmarket, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Thetford, Diss, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Wymondham, Ely, Littleport, March, Chatteris, Swaffham, Dereham, King’s Lynn, Wisbech, Peterborough, Spalding, St Neots.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst within a UKAS accredited company
* Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
* Will have experience working across a diverse range of sites
* Good industry technical knowledge
* Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Able to manage own workload efficiently
The Role:
* Performing the full range of management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
* Re-inspection surveys after works are completed
* 4 stage clearances
* Completing background, leak, smoke, personal and re-occupation air monitoring
* Meeting with clients to provide technical advice and answer any queries
* Producing site-specific technical reports and schematic drawings
* Delivering training for asbestos awareness
* Travelling in line with company needs
* Wearing correct PPE on site
