Piping supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise and Coordinate: Manage piping installation, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
– Quality Control: Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
– Team Management: Lead and guide a team of pipefitters, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
– Planning and Scheduling: Develop project schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
– Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
– Communication: Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to maintain progress and resolve issues ¹ ² ³.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Piping Supervisor or similar role
– Knowledge of piping systems, construction methods, and safety regulations
– Excellent leadership and project management skills
– Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
– Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills
– CSCS card and relevant industry certifications (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely)
