Finisher
Are you a detail-oriented Finisher looking for a short-term contract to fill your schedule? We are currently recruiting for an experienced tradesperson to join a new build housing site in Hessle.
This is a focused, short-term role centered on the final stages of the build, ensuring plots are handed over in perfect, defect-free condition.
The Role
You will be working closely with the Site Manager to run through final snagging lists, putting the finishing touches on properties ahead of customer handovers. See below duties:
Working efficiently from site snagging lists to complete final defect rectifications.
Patch plastering & painting touch ups.
Adjusting doors, ironmongery, kitchen units, skirting, and architraves.
Applying clean, professional seals in kitchens, bathrooms, and utility areas.
Making Good: Handling minor internal touch-ups to ensure a show-home quality finish.
Working to tight deadlines to ensure plots are ready for handover day.
What You'll Need:
Valid CSCS Card (Skilled Worker preferred).
Proven experience in finishing and snagging on new build residential sites.
A full suite of your own tools (including a cordless kit and fine finishing hand tools).
An exceptionally keen eye for detail and quality workmanship.
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
Reliable transport to the Hessle/East Yorkshire area.
