We are working with a well-established, growing engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to take on a hands-on, project-leading role within a collaborative and forward-thinking business delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

The Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects across residential, commercial and industrial developments. This role suits a Senior Civil Engineer who enjoys owning projects, mentoring others, and working closely with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as Project / Senior Civil Engineer on a range of developments

* Lead roads and drainage design, including calculations

* Coordinate planning and approvals with authorities

* Prepare and review reports, designs and specifications

* Carry out site inspections and monitor quality

* Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and teams

* Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery

What We’re Looking For

* Experience as a Senior Civil Engineer or similar

* Strong roads and drainage design background

* Proficiency in PDS, WINDES or similar

* Development project experience

* Leadership ability and progress toward chartership
