Rate: £350 – £420 per day
Duration: Long-Term Contract

ARC are recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major infrastructure project based in Norfolk. Rate depends on with or without equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile civil engineering scheme, supporting the delivery of complex groundworks, earthworks, drainage and reinforced concrete packages.
Responsibilities
Setting out for drainage, ducting, foundations, access roads and associated civil engineering works.
Carrying out site surveys and establishing control points.
Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built surveys.
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and specifications.
Liaising with site management, subcontractors and design teams.
Conducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Assisting with earthworks calculations, levels and volume measurements.
Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on major civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, highways, energy or substation projects.
Competent using surveying equipment.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience producing as-built surveys and site records.
Strong understanding of drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete and groundworks packages.
CSCS Card.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
Experience working on National Grid, energy or substation projects.
SMSTS or SSSTS.
First Aid at Work.
AutoCAD experience.
